Eckerd Youth Alternatives
Camp E-Toh-Anee is a positive, nurturing residential adventure based program for boys 11-17 who have difficulty functioning in social, family and school environments. Eckerd Family Youth Alternatives’ Outdoor Therapeutic Programs combine fully accredited year-round alternative education with group and individual counseling, outdoor adventure activities and relationship and communication skill building. The program helps boys develop skills in handling conflict successfully, taking personal responsibility, respecting themselves and others and building positive relationships.
Youth live in rural outdoor settings in small groups of 8 to 10 with trained and nurturing counselors. Families are fully supported while the child is in treatment and aftercare support is provided to the child and family for six months after graduation. Eckerd Youth Alternatives operates a residential Outdoor Therapeutic Program and a community based Alternative Day School Program in New Hampshire.
