Residential Treatment Services (Intensive and Intermediate)
Residential Treatment services offer a comprehensive variety of therapeutic opportunities in a residence or campus. Such services can include onsite schools (Intensive) or utilize local public schools (Intermediate) depending on the needs of the child or youth served.
Individual Service Options (ISO)
Individual Service Options tailor a variety of therapeutic, social and community-based services to the specific needs of a child, youth and his or her family and endevours to create a safe, stable, positive home environment for each child. This service can be provided in the youth's home, a relatives home or if needed a foster home.
Foster Homes
A temporary home for a child and/or young adult that is unable to live with their legal family for a period of time and are in need of a safe and stable place to live
with families that are trained and supervised by social services.
In Home Support Services
In Home Support Services offers trained staff that provide short-term family therapy, crisis stabilization, parenting assistance, case management and individual supports based on each family's needs. This service is provided in the family's home.
Special Education Day School
Educational programs that provides specialized education services for children with learning disabilities and behavioral challenges.
Day Treatment Program
An intensive afternoon and evening program offering an alternative to out-of-home placement that supports youth who are transitioning from more intensive environments. Day Treatment allows youth to remain living at home while getting the help they need to get back on track through a combination of community based academic services, recreational and social activities and therapeutic supports.
Substance Abuse Treatment
A variety of psycho-educational and counseling services for children, youth and families that have experienced problems related to alcohol and/or drug use. These services can be accessed in the community or as a part of a residential treatment program. Many programs require random drug screening. Such services may be voluntary or court ordered.
Child Advocacy - Court Appointed Special Advocates
Trained volunteers that represent the best interest of abused and/or neglected children in the court system. A CASA volunteer visits the child on each case on a monthly basis and interacts with families, treatment team members, DCYF and other parties to the case. CASA volunteers advocate in court for safe and permanent homes for each child.
